Bhaskar grew up around tea in Nepal before moving to Canada, where he struggled to find the teas he remembered from home. That experience led him to start Nepal Hills Tea — a company dedicated to bringing authentic Nepali artisan teas directly from small producers to tea drinkers in North America.

Second-generation tea entrepreneur with a background in supply chain and sourcing.

Bibhu Gautam

Bibhu oversees financial strategy while helping guide the company’s sustainability vision. She plays a key role in shaping responsible growth and ensuring the company supports farmers and communities in Nepal.

Anil Thapa

Partner & President
Anil brings leadership and community connection to Nepal Hills Tea. A respected entrepreneur in Canada’s Nepali community, he is passionate about promoting Nepali heritage and products internationally.

Santosh Ghale

Tea Maker & Selector/Nepal
Santosh works directly with tea producers to select the teas that represent the best of Nepal’s artisan gardens. His experience spans tea making, tasting, and quality control.

Over 15 years working in Nepali tea factories and production.

Bhushit Dahal

Operation and Logistics/Nepal

Bhushit has been working in the tea sector for around a decade. He oversees sourcing, packaging and logistics operations of our facility in Nepal
